Mayor wants to ban full-faced helmets
Is this the proper solution in preventing the kind of killings contemplated?
I guess not.
It is more like weighing the scale between the risks of injuries when not wearing a proper helmet and as a solution for the cops to have a vivid description of would-be assailants.
I hope this proposal will not be realized.
For me, it will be more logical to have the presence of the police force be felt around the city.
They should be stationed in such a way that they can immediately respond to emergencies and and crimes.
But not like the present scheme where the cops keep on riding that Toyota Innova.
They just used that car to pick up their mates aside from their regular roving.
There are a lot of cops out there.
They should be placed in the different corners of the city.
Not just stay on their service vehicles.
Watchdog ka nga eh, tapos magbabasa ka lang ng dyaryo sa loob ng government vehicle.
Proud na proud ka pa magdala ng M16 mo na mahahawakan mo lang pagdating ng scene of the crime at tapos na ang lahat.
